What to do when you are depressed

Depression is a state of mental illness, where the result is that you feel you are the unluckiest person in the world. Having problems is a part of being human, but for someone who is depressed they tend to get self – pity, always regretting something they have done, and they feel that everything seems so hopeless. The result is that they are suicidal.
What to do when you are depressed:
Simple all you have to when you feel depressed are the following:
1)      Be with people – when you are surrounded by people, friends or not, you do not have the time to think about the misgivings of your life. Chatting, smiling, and laughing can ease the feeling of depression.
2)      Watch comedy movies and TV – shows – when you are watching comedies it seems that you feel light and you do not have to think about your problems anymore. Literary speaking all you have to do when watching is laugh until your stomachs aches and watching comedies can change your mood.
3)      Do charities work – one-way in getting out of your shell is to feel appreciated. When you feel appreciated, your self-worth will somehow be enlightened and it can change the way you think. That everybody suffers the same situation you had or even worse. Doing charities will make yourself worthy and remember to keep yourself firmly planted on the ground. Just be humble when you help someone and when you receive their appreciation it would be 100 times worth it.
4)      Group activities – when you feel down, go out, invite your friends, and have fun. Take time to unwind and have a good laugh. If you have any problems share it with your friends, friends are always there for you when you need them.
5)      Eat nutritious foods – foods can be the trigger of depression, when you eat something delicious it seems that you felt refreshed and can face your problems honestly.
6)      Meditation and exercise – these activities can help you to understand yourself better, talking to your inner self would be the solution why you are feeling down, in this situation you can analyze where you felt depressed.
When you feel down, think of wonderful places you want to go, foods you want to eat, and your embarrassing moment, yes that's right your embarrassing moments, When you laugh it is then when you realize that you are special and we all know that laughter can be the best medicine of all especially when you are depressed.
